We are pleased to share a milestone for one of KaDSci’s solutions.
Our solution applied ontology research and development platform and methodology has been competitively assessed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and has been deemed “awardable” in the Expedited Research Innovation System (ERIS) Marketplace, making it available to view and easily procurable by the Department of War.
Here is what that means in plain terms. The solution passed a competitive technical review against DARPA’s scoring rubric. It is now listed in the ERIS Marketplace, where authorized government users across the Department of War can find it and move quickly toward a funded award without running a new solicitation. The status is a certification, not a contract or guaranteed funding, and it applies to this specific assessed solution rather than to KaDSci as a whole.
For the government teams we work with, this shortens the path from discovery to award. The competitive step is already behind us, so a program manager who sees a fit can engage directly and negotiate an award through flexible Other Transaction authorities.

KaDSci’s SciStack Platform Assessed “Awardable” for DARPA ERIS Marketplace

July 30, 2026 – KaDSci, LLC, a veteran-owned analytics boutique specializing in decision science, research, analytics, and engineering, announced that one of its solutions has achieved “awardable” status through the DARPA Expedited Research Innovation System (ERIS) Marketplace.

KaDSci’s video, SciStack: Improving C2 Interoperability and AI Trustworthiness by Advancing
the State of the Art in Applied Ontology, accessible only by government customers with a .mil email address on the DARPA ERIS Marketplace, presents an actual use case in which the company applies SciStack to accelerate applied ontology development for strategic and multi-level command and control interoperability, compressing timelines that once ran months into weeks and, in some cases, days.
The demonstration walks through the platform end to end. SciStack ingests structured and unstructured data along with reference ontologies and subject matter expertise, runs it through a semi-automated ontology engine that uses retrieval-supported language models to map inputs to existing ontology terms and generate new ones where needed, tests the candidate ontology for quality and logical consistency, and delivers standard outputs including RDF, OWL, TTL, and knowledge graphs. The foundation is Basic Formal Ontology, the DoW and IC standard.
